Banana Donut Holes:
- 1 large banana, mashed (about 1/2 cup)
- 3/4 cup self-rising flour
Coating:
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil or melted vegan butter
- To work the dough/knead:
- 2–3 teaspoons melted coconut oil
Instructions
- Mash the banana: Into a smooth puree to get 1/2 cup.
- Add flour: Stir together to form lumps.
- Knead the dough: With slightly oiled hands, form a sticky, moist dough ball.
- Shape the dough: Roll into balls, place on parchment paper-lined plate.
- Air fry: Spray oil in basket, air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 6-7 minutes until golden.
- Coat with cinnamon sugar: Brush warm balls with coconut oil, then roll in cinnamon sugar.
- Serve: Warm immediately.

- Be careful not to overwork the dough or add too much flour.
