Description

This Cheeseburger Salad recipe is a delicious twist on a classic cheeseburger, served in a fresh and lighter way. With all the traditional cheeseburger toppings over a bed of crisp lettuce, this salad is satisfying and flavorful.


Ingredients

Ground Beef:

  • 1 1/2 pounds very lean ground beef, browned and drained

Lettuce:

  • 6 cups chopped iceberg lettuce

Cheese:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Colby jack cheese

Tomatoes:

  • 1 cup diced Roma tomatoes

Onion:

  • 1 cup sliced red onion

Pickles:

  • 1/2 cup diced dill pickles

Dressing:

  • Thousand Island dressing

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped lettuce to an extra-large serving bowl.
  2. Sprinkle the cooked ground beef over the lettuce.

  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced onion, and diced dill pickles over the ground beef.
  4. Toss to combine.
