Orzo Bake:

  • 2 cups orzo, uncooked
  • 3 1/2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 can condensed French onion soup
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cups Swiss or mozzarella shredded cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine orzo, vegetable broth, condensed soup, sour cream, soup mix, thyme, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and ½ cups shredded cheese. Stir to combine.
  3. Bake First Round: Bake for 35 minutes, then remove from oven and top with remaining 1 ½ cups cheese.
  4. Final Bake: Bake for another 15 minutes or until cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
