  • 8 ounces frozen strawberries (1 cup)
  • 1 ounce Cointreau (2 tablespoons)
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice (2 tablespoons) from about 1 lime
  • 2 ounces Reposado Tequila (1/4 cup)
  • 1 ounce agave syrup or simple syrup (2 tablespoons)
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 8 ounces ice (1 cup)

For 6 Servings

  • 32 ounces frozen strawberries (4 cups)
  • 4 ounces Cointreau (1/2 cup)
  • 4 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice (1/2 cup) from about 4 limes
  • 8 ounces Reposado Tequila (1 cup)
  • 4 ounces agave syrup or simple syrup (1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 32 ounces ice (4 cups)
  • For the Salt/Zest Rim

    • 2 tablespoons margarita salt
    • 1 teaspoon lime zest from 1/2 lime
    • 1 tablespoon raw sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rub the rim of the glasses: Rub the rim of the glasses with a lime slice and dip in the prepared salt blend; set aside.
  2. Prepare the Margarita: Place all ingredients in a blender and mix on CHOP until desired consistency.
  3. Serve: Pour into prepared glasses, garnish with fresh strawberries and a lime wedge.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less agave syrup.
  • You can also customize the salt rim with extra lime zest or raw sugar for added flavor.
