Ingredients
Scale
Pigs In A Blanket
- All-purpose flour, for surface
- 1 (8-oz.) tube crescent rolls
- 1 (12-oz.) package mini cocktail wieners
- 4 Tbsp. melted unsalted butter
- Coarse salt
Mayo-Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce (optional)
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Dough: Preheat oven to 375ºF. On a lightly floured surface, unroll crescent roll sheets and tear along the perforations. Cut each large triangle into three smaller triangles.
- Wrap Wieners: Place one mini cocktail wiener on the thick side of each small dough triangle, then gently roll it toward the thinner side to fully encase the wiener.
- Arrange and Season: Transfer the wrapped wieners to a medium baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse salt for flavor and a golden crust.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through, about 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and serve warm.
- Optional Sauce Preparation: In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, Dijon mustard, honey, and lime juice until well combined. Serve alongside the pigs in a blanket as a dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use all-purpose flour lightly to prevent dough from sticking while rolling out.
- Adjust baking time depending on oven variances; watch for a golden brown crust.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne to the dipping sauce.
- These can be made ahead and reheated briefly before serving.
