Ingredients
Scale
For the Frozen Whipped Cream:
- 1/4 cup whipped topping or whipped cream
For the Pumpkin Pie Martini:
- 2 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
- 1 1/2 oz. aged rum
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/4 cup half-and-half
- 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice, plus additional for garnish
- Handful of ice cubes
Instructions
- Chill Glasses: Place 2 martini glasses in the freezer to chill while preparing the cocktail and frozen whipped cream.
- Prepare Frozen Whipped Cream: Line a small sheet tray with parchment or waxed paper. Make 2 dollops of whipped topping or whipped cream onto the sheet tray and place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes until frozen solid.
- Mix Pumpkin Pie Martini: In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka, 1 1/2 oz. aged rum, 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, 3 tablespoons maple syrup, 1/4 cup half-and-half, 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and a handful of ice cubes. Cover the shaker and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds to thoroughly blend and chill the ingredients.
- Serve: Strain the mixture evenly into the chilled martini glasses. Top each glass with one dollop of the frozen whipped cream. Sprinkle additional pumpkin pie spice over the top as a garnish and serve immediately.
Notes
- For an extra touch, rim the glasses with cinnamon sugar before pouring the cocktail.
- You can substitute the half-and-half with heavy cream or milk for creaminess variation.
- Maple syrup adds natural sweetness and complements the pumpkin flavor, but you can adjust the amount according to taste.
- If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, omit the vodka and rum and add extra half-and-half or a splash of vanilla extract.
- Make the frozen whipped cream ahead of time and store it in the freezer for convenience when serving multiple guests.
