Description

These Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are a fun mashup of classic cheeseburgers and crispy egg rolls, filled with a savory mixture of ground beef, cheese, pickles, and seasonings. Perfect for parties or a unique appetizer!

Cheeseburger Filling:

  • 1/2 yellow onion, chopped finely
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 12 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, dried and diced
  • 46 slices of cooked bacon, chopped

Other Ingredients:

  • 1520 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg white, whisked
  • Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray
  • 23 cups vegetable oil, for frying
  • Garnish: 1 green onion stalk, chopped finely

Instructions

  1. Cook the Filling: In a pan, cook onion, garlic, and ground beef. Season with Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Add cheese, pickles, and bacon. Mix well.
  2. Fill the Wrappers: Place filling on egg roll wrappers. Roll tightly, sealing edges with egg white.
  3. Fry the Egg Rolls: Heat oil, fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown.
  4. Serve: Drain excess oil, season with salt and pepper, garnish with green onions, and serve hot.
