Cheeseburger Filling:
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped finely
- 3 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1–2 teaspoons yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, dried and diced
- 4–6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
Other Ingredients:
- 15–20 egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg white, whisked
- Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray
- 2–3 cups vegetable oil, for frying
- Garnish: 1 green onion stalk, chopped finely
Instructions
- Cook the Filling: In a pan, cook onion, garlic, and ground beef. Season with Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Add cheese, pickles, and bacon. Mix well.
- Fill the Wrappers: Place filling on egg roll wrappers. Roll tightly, sealing edges with egg white.
- Fry the Egg Rolls: Heat oil, fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown.
- Serve: Drain excess oil, season with salt and pepper, garnish with green onions, and serve hot.
